


1. How can I rent a mobile phone in Korea?
Upon visiting SKT roaming center at airport, you can rent a phone and you can find the location of airports on the homepage. Passport and credit card are required and fees will be charged when returning the rented phone. Credit card must be presented to proceed.
2. Should I reserve a phone before?
Reservation is not required. However, 50% of discount on rates will be given when making reservation via www.skroaming.com and online reservation must be made 3 days prior to arrival to Korea.
3. Can I rent a mobile phone without my passport?
For Korean nationals, an ID card or drivers license is sufficient. For foreigners, however, a passport is required.
4. What do I do if I dont have a contact number in Korea?
Please provide contact information in your country. A temporary phone number at hotel is not accepted.
5. How long can I rent a mobile phone?
You can rent one for as long as you want.
For long-term users, fees for Mobile Phone rental will be charged in every 15 days and GSM roaming rental fees will be charged in every 30 days onto the credit card presented for deposit

At present, we have phones which support Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese.
Please reserve Mobile Phone rentals online in advance as these languages are not available on all models.
7. Do I have to return my Mobile Phone to the place where I rented it?
Regardless of where you rented your Mobile Phone, you can return it at Incheon International as well as the Gimpo, Gimhae, and Jeju international airports or Busan Harbor, the Jongno Branch.
8. Can I return the phone by parcel service?
In principle, that is not possible. However, in the case of an unavoidable reason, e.g. accidentally carrying the Mobile Phone back to your home country, it may be the most logical option. However, please notify us in advance by phone. In this case, the rental phone and call fee will be charged to the deposit credit card.
9. What are your prices and payment methods?
The rental fee is 3,000 KRW per day. Calling charges are 100 KRW per ten seconds (600 KRW per minute). Calling charges are payable by cash or credit card when returning the Mobile Phone. Discount rates are given to long-term users and fees for Mobile Phone rental (every 15 days) and roaming rental (every 30 days) will be automatically charged on the credit card presented for deposit
Yes. The rate is the same, regardless.
11. Do you offer discounts for long-term rentals?
Yes, we discount rental fees. For rentals over ten days, the daily fee falls 1,000 KRW to 2,000 KRW per day. For rentals over a month, the daily rental fee automatically becomes 1,000 KRW per day. However, there is no discount for calling charges.
12.What additional services are available?
Caller ID service and domestic, international SMS service are free of charge. (Domestic SMS sending is 100 won each) MMS service, international SMS service and voice message and NATE service are not currently available
13. Is 00700 the only access number available for international calls?
Other access numbers, such as 001, can be used, but 00700 is cheaper, e.g. making a call to the U.S. => 00700: 756 KRW per minute 001: 888 KRW per minute
14. What should I do on troubles or lost of a rental phone?
Please call the Rental Service Center (Tel. 1599-2011) immediately. When a mobile phone is out of order, we will replace the phone with a new one after a simple test. If you lost it, we immediately suspend all services. In the event of damage, we may charge you 20,000 ~ 50,000 KRW.
