  • Considerations

    • eSIM can be installed in an environment where Internet/Wi-Fi is available.
    • Once the eSIM QR is scanned, you cannot request a refund except for service unavailability due to device lock or device not supporting eSIM. (Refunds cannot be processed after 30 days from the date of purchase due to credit card company policy.)
    • eSIM cannot be used on mobile phones with a country lock set. Please be sure to check before purchasing.
    • After scanning QR, it cannot be used on other devices. (eSIM QR can be scanned up to 10 times.)
    • You can receive voice and text messages for free. (Not applicable for 1-day pass)
    • You will not be able to use it for identity verification and receive payment-related texts.
    • The eSIM prepaid data product is a short-term rental product valid for one year after purchase and cannot be used after that.

      90 days are applied every 24 hours from the moment you scan the eSIM QR on the mobile phone.

    • You can use unlimited data during the usage period. (You can use data continuously at a speed up to 100Mbps.)
    • Additional eSIMs can be used after the eSIM in use expires.
    • If the eSIM profile is deleted manually during use, the eSIM cannot be used regardless of the period of use.
    • You must purchase a new eSIM if you delete your profile manually.
    • This product cannot be charged for [voice/text(outgoing)].

    Passport information verification

    • Step.1

      Scan the passport information verification QR code in your paper or online voucher.

    • Step.2

      Verify your passport information on the page accessed by scanning the QR code.

    • Step.3

      After completing the steps, please check the text message received.

    • Passport information verification is only available between 8 AM and 10 PM, and is not available at other times.
    • If you wish to verify passport information outside the available hours online, please proceed with the verification process at the airport roaming center.
    • All incoming/outgoing calls and text messages are unavailable until the passport information has been verified. (Data is available for use regardless of whether or not the passport information has been verified)
    • Incoming calls and text messages are only available after the passport information has been verified.
    • The roaming customer service center (+82-2-6343-9000) is available for incoming/outgoing calls regardless of the passport information verification status.
    • Passport information verification is available for only one product per passport. Passport information verification is not available for multiple products with one passport)
    • No additional verification procedure is required after the first confirmation of passport information.

    How to check if eSIM can be installed on your phone

    Check with ‘Add eSIM’ in Settings.
    For iPhone, check [Settings – Cellular – ‘Add eSIM’]
    For Android, check [Settings – Connections – SIM Manager – ‘Add eSIM’].
    If you enter *#06# in the basic phone app and the eSIM IMEI or EID starting with '89...' appears, eSIM can be installed and used on your phone.
    • Even if you can scan the QR code, you cannot use it if your phone is locked.
    • You can check whether your phone is unlocked from your phone manufacturer or current mobile service provider.
    • You can also check whether your phone supports eSIM from your phone manufacturer.

    4. Could it be that I can't possibly use it?
    It is only available on mobile phones that support eSIM. Please check the list of mobile phones that support eSIM.
    Data can be used regardless of passport information authenticity confirmation, but voice/text reception can be used after passport information authenticity confirmation.
    5. What should I do if I cannot use it? Can I get a refund?
    eSIM(Data, Call, SMS) plans can be canceled/refunded on the same day only if all Data, Call, SMS is not used. (Non-refundable for voice/text charging)
    In addition, according to the card company policy, refunds are not available more than 30 days after the purchase.
    6. Can I use voice or text services in addition to data?
    eSIM (Data) products only support data services.
    eSIM/SIM (Data, Call, SMS) products can be used for calls and text by charging after purchase.
    7. Can I extend the usage period after the expiration date? Is there any expiration date?
    Extension is not possible. For additional usage, please purchase at www.skroaming.com.
    Cannot be scanned one year after eSIM purchase.
    8. What should I do after using it?
    No need to return. Just delete your profile from your phone.
